Blog 8: Ignorance, Bliss, and Knowledge in Oedipus the King and The Matrix.

      The concepts explored in The Matrix and Oedipus the King take a look into the ideas of knowlege or ignornace and happeness. The notion that ignorgance is bliss is demonstarted welll in the Matrix.The Character known as Chyper quoted himself that "ignorgance is bliss". He explained that living without worry or hassle is much more easier. In the Play Oedipus the King, Jocasta ideas pareller chyper when she beileves that it would be better if Oedipus wasnt aware of what he did. As Seen on line 1072 "Ah mayst thou ne'er discover who thou art" ! Yet as for knowelege Oedipus is a contrast. He feels as if he must know everthying regardless to how pleasant or horrible it his fate is. In line 1167 Oedipus tells the Herdsman "And i of hearing, but i still must hear."
